About Us

Sharrott Winery is a family owned vineyard and winery located in the beautiful pine forests of New Jersey. Our belief is that great wines start in the vineyard in collaboration with Mother Nature. We take great care to use sustainable practices in our winegrowing to improve our little piece of the world.

History

In the summer of 2004, after two years of planning, we closed on a 34 acre piece of property in Winslow, NJ.

In 2005 we planted the first four acres of our vineyard. You can see our vineyard in the Photo Gallery!

Our vines continue to develop in 2006. Site work has begun for construction of our production facility.

2007 brings new challenges with the winery building under construction and our vineyard in its third year. This is the year it will all start coming together with our first harvest and crush.
